to switch between Supplement plans of equal or lesser coverage is available to Medicare recipients in any of those states. You cannot switch from Supplement plans to Advantage plans or vice versa. Illinois has a restriction where it’s only available from your 65th to 75th birthday. And in Illinois and Louisiana, you can only switch to Medicare Supplement plans offered by the same insurance plan provider. For the rest of the states, there are no such restrictions.
